We’re having a BALL!

Saturday, Feb. 13 | 6 p.m.

Fair Market | 1100 E. Fifth St., Austin

Not just any ball … Upbring Red Ball Austin—the new Make a Difference Gala – is an exciting event our organization has held the past 16 years to benefit children served through our Central Texas programs including:

Upbring New Life Children’s Center in Canyon Lake—a residential treatment center for severely troubled girls ages 11-17—addresses treatment for emotional disorders due to abuse and neglect. Beyond the basic needs of shelter, clothing and food, New Life has given more than 2,000 girls a safe place to heal.

Upbring Foster In Texas—the largest provider of foster care and adoption services in Texas. More than 1,100 Texas children depend on FIT every year to provide safe, loving foster homes through one of our 14 local offices.

Upbring BeREAL Austin—a Supervised Independent Living program designed to help the more than 1,300 young adults aging out of foster care – ages 18-21 – in Central Texas every year. BeREAL empowers them to become contributing and self-sufficient members of our communities, providing housing placements and setup, case management, life skills development opportunities and more.

Why Red Ball? Not only is red the color of love … the image of a red ball brings to mind a couple of things: for grownups, a ball usually means a fancy party or dress-up event, while for kids, a ball invites a sense of play – an essential part of a happy childhood. And that’s something we want for every child!
Upbring Red Ball Austin features…

  • Dinner by Pascal’s – European cuisine with an Austin flair
  • Live and silent auctions with interactive mobile bidding
  • After party with Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes
  • Complimentary valet parking
