Meet Lisa, a charming five–year-old girl who lives with a foster family in Bulgaria. Due to her medical needs, her foster mother can no longer take care of her so Lisa needs a new home. Lisa laughs a lot and is excited around others. She expresses joy when meeting other people and verbalizes positive emotions through sounds and syllables. Lisa is a warm and cuddly little girl. She knows how to charm other people and receives lots of attention. She will light up your home with her calm and positive personality.
Lisa has some issues concerning her general motor skills but shows great progress. She has a developmental delay, symptomatic epilepsy, microcephaly and cerebral palsy. Lisa is receiving support and intervention from a therapist and psychologist in the local community. She currently moves using a walker, but she has tremendous power in her legs and her specialist thinks that soon she will start running around.
