Kruse Village Knitting Story Warms the Body & Soul

0

What a wonderful story by KBTX.com in Bryan/College Station. Master knitter and Kruse Village resident June Davis is 91 and has been knitting since she was a teenager. She shares her love of the hobby with the Brenham Middle School Knitting Club once a month, when the group visits Kruse Village to spend time knitting alongside Mrs. Davis.

There are 25 students in the Knitting Club, proof that knitting is becoming a popular pastime once again, and with all age groups. The caps, sweaters, and scarves the group knits are all for a real purpose and destination: they are given to needy children and the cancer patients at the University Cancer Center in Brenham. Enjoy the KTBX report!
