Neighborhood House needs your help to win $10,000 through the City Bank “Community Rewards” contest.
Never heard of Neighborhood House, our under-the-radar ministry serving the Lubbock area? This LSS emergency assistance program founded in 1967 provides food vouchers, hygiene products, prescriptions, diapers, and baby formula to low-income handicapped and elderly, and families with children.
When temperatures rise or fall, the numbers of people who can’t pay their utility bills only go in one direction – up. Neighborhood House comes to the rescue by distributing utility vouchers to help people in financial crisis keep the heat or AC on.
