There are so many angels praying for the kids at Krause Children’s Center in Katy! Susan Akerman and her granddaughter Zoe are doing just that. Grace Anglican Community Church in Katy has set up an “Angel Tree” for the kids at the Center. The tree is hung with angels with each Krause boy’s or girl’s name on them. As members of the congregation select the ornaments, they are asked to pray for that special child.
Susan Akerman, Grace Anglican church member, sent us this note: I want to tell you about one of our ‘Angels.’ My granddaughter Zoe saw my little pile of Krause angels and asked what they were for. I explained that each one represents a child and that I am praying for those children each day. Zoe wanted one to take home to put on her Christmas tree. I told her that if she took one, she would have to pray for that child every day. She said she didn’t know how to do that, but if I would teach her how, she would do it. So, we had a little prayer lesson and she now has the angel on her tree. I talked to her on the phone this evening and we prayed for ‘her’ child together. Please let the Krause children know that they have blessed my family, and given us the opportunity for a five-year-old to learn to pray for others.
Psalm 91:11 – For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
