“I’m a Senior – Now What?” will be the question of the day at SeniorFest, a day-long gathering for adults aged 50 and above, in Plano, Texas, on February 22nd. Dr. Kurt Senske, the keynote speaker and CEO of LSS, will help answer that question as he speaks on the theme of “Living a Successful Life of Significance.” Dr. Senske, author of The Calling – Live a Life of Significance, will define strategies for living out one’s calling during the seasoned years of life. The true meaning of success, he explains, is “ discovering and living out the life that God uniquely created for each one of us.”
The seventh annual North Texas SeniorFest will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano. The event is sponsored by Adult Lutherans Organized for Action (ALOA), a nation-wide, inter-Lutheran organization that provides resources for older adult ministries of the LCMS and ELCA.
SeniorFest in Plano is just one of the many events sponsored by ALOA throughout the country, as they bring together mature adults for workshops and opportunities for spiritual growth, education, and networking … and for some fun too!
