Mixed specific disorders in the psychological development;
Speech delay

Teddy is a fun-loving 4.5-year-old boy who is living in a Foster family in Eastern Europe.

An active little boy, Teddy can walk, run, and climbs up and down the stairs when holding an adult or the railing. He can play with cubes by putting them in and out of a cup but has some problems manipulating with smaller objects. He cannot eat or dress by himself yet but does make attempts.

Teddy attends a Child Day Center and three times a week he visits a Social Support Center in the local town where a psychologist and a speech therapist work with him. Although he understands everything and pronounces a few simple words, he is not able to speak, yet. He has a good appetite and his sleep is calm and quiet.

Teddy enjoys playing hide and seek. He hides behind the door and, when he is found, he laughs and stamps his feet. The boy has a musical toy and loves listening to the tunes – music makes him feel comfortable.
