Foundation partners ensure Upbring has the resources necessary to empower children, adults, and families to achieve positive outcomes in key areas, including health, safety, education, vocation, and life skills. Achieving positive outcomes in these areas sets the stage for generational cycles of well-being and stability, thus decreasing the likelihood that child abuse will occur.
Upbring is gratified by the generosity and commitment of our foundation partners. With their generous support, Upbring is able to:
- Provide all children who enter our Statewide Therapeutic Foster Care program with new clothing;
- Offer ongoing opportunities for the girls receiving treatment at Upbring’s New Life Children’s Center and Krause Children’s Center to discover their talents and build self-confidence by playing team sports, taking art classes, and engaging in other enrichment activities;
- Ensure all Upbring foster parents and staff engage in ongoing training in trauma-informed care, thereby ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the needs of children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Looking ahead, Upbring will continue to seek foundation partners on a local, regional, and national level. In addition to financial support, Upbring welcomes the opportunity to partner with foundations to achieve shared goals or serve as thought-leaders within the child welfare arena.
