Cyril & Amy

amy-and-cyril-400px-300x300Hello! We are Cyril, Amy and Liam. We don’t know you, but because you are reading this, we know two things about you—you are strong and selfless. Thank you for choosing life and for considering us to be a part of this new life. We have known each other for 16 years and have been married for 11 years. We met and started dating in high school, both attended Texas A&M University and have experienced many “firsts” together—first kiss, first jobs, first house and everything in between.

In 2013, we became parents through the blessing of adoption. Our son Liam challenges, teaches and surprises us every day. He became a part of our family the minute we met him, and he brings more joy to our lives than we thought possible. Liam is friendly, loving and has a great sense of humor. His smile and laugh are contagious. He has a gentleness about him, and we know he will make an excellent big brother. He loves to read, play outside and love on his best buddies—his stuffed animals and our dogs, Red and Beethoven!

We have a family motto that we live by, and it’s pretty simple— “Work hard and be nice to people.” We enjoy spending time as a family at home, being outside and traveling. Our faith is very important to us and is something we have and will pass along to our children.

Cyril is the oldest of three siblings and Amy has a younger sister. Both sets of our parents were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 30 years! We get together with our families regularly, and our gatherings are loud and full of laughter. Cyril works as an electrical engineer, and Amy works part-time as a registered nurse.

While the pain of infertility was difficult, we know in our hearts building our family through adoption was God’s plan for us all along. We have always wanted to be parents and can’t wait to welcome another child into our home. We have an open adoption with Liam’s birth mother and are open to meeting you before birth or at placement. We keep you in our prayers daily as you make this difficult decision. Thank you for considering us to be the adoptive family for your child.
