There’s so much to consider when thinking about adoption as an option for you and your baby. Upbring Adoption in Austin works with birth parents throughout Texas and we can help you too! If you speak to one of our adoption counselors there’s no obligation to place your child for adoption – we can help you learn about the adoption process and see if it’s a good fit for you.
“I felt informed of my options when considering adoption
As a young woman, I was put in unimaginable circumstances with nowhere to turn. Upbring and their wonderful staff did everything to comfort me and inform me of all my options. They guided me every step of the way. I couldn’t have done this alone. Knowing I was never judged by my adoption specialist for doing what I had to do was very helpful.”

Open adoption- is it right for you?
If witnessing milestones in your baby’s life and watching them grow into adulthood is important, open adoption might be the right choice for you. Open adoption can range from simply exchanging contact information with your baby’s adoptive parents, to sharing photos and letters, arranging Skype appointments or even in-person visits! Your Upbring adoption counselor can share more about what open adoption means and if it’s a good choice for you and your baby!
“Our friendship with our daughter’s biological mom and family is so special. A long time ago, another adoptive parent told us that, when you meet your baby and they are placed in your arms, your entire adoption journey will all make sense. We feel that is so true as Upbring facilitated our meeting with Laurel’s biological family and they, along with Laurel, are a beautiful addition to our lives. The open friendship (because it truly feels like one) that we have with Laurel’s biological parents and their families is so special. The love we all share for our baby, Laurel, is embraced by each of us and we all want the very best for her.”
