Down Syndrome; Speech delay
Jack is a loving and energetic 14-year-old boy who currently lives in an orphanage in Eastern Europe.
Jack has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and has experienced speech and developmental delays. His general motor skills are very well developed. He can run, jump and climb without problems.
Jack is nonverbal, but expresses his emotions through laughs, cries, smiles and grimaces. Through individual work and therapy, Jack has learned to manage his behavior and react in a calm manor.
Jack enjoys rhythmic music and car rides. He can eat with a spoon on his own but doesn’t do it often. He cannot take care of himself and needs assistance with daily hygiene.
Jack needs a loving, compassionate forever family to provide the support required for him to reach his full potential.
