Alexandra is a calm, resilient 11-year-old girl with a strong personality and sense of self. She stands up for her rights and wishes, and she has a keen sense of justice. She lives in a child center in a small town in Eastern Europe.
Alexandra loves being involved in group activities, and she is very eager to go to school. Due to her cerebral palsy, moderate mental disability and vitiligo, she receives academic support from a resource teacher to improve her learning skills, and she enjoys individual attention. She quickly builds emotional bonds with adults.
