Ethan, a 7-year-old boy who has lived in a small group home in Eastern Europe since 2013, dreams of being adopted internationally like his friend was last year.
Ethan is a very active and positive child. Physically, he is very well developed, with some light institutional delays.
Ethan likes listening to music and singing. He follows verbal instructions, and his passive and active vocabularies are considerably improved. Ethan can speak a few words and is trying to answer questions verbally. When reading, Ethan can identify objects and sometimes name them. He can also say the names of everyone around him.
Ethan has grown more independent lately, especially when undressing, dressing, putting on and taking off his shoes and collecting toys.
