Lisa is a 2-month-old girl living with a foster family in Eastern Europe. Warm and cuddly, Lisa knows how to charm people, and she gets lots of attention!
A very contactable little girl, Lisa expresses joy at meeting other people. During a meeting, she is calm, positive and laughable. She is calm in the family environment, too. There is no unjustified anxiety. Lisa expresses emotions in social contacts with other children, and she verbalizes positive emotions through sounds and syllables.
Lisa has cerebral palsy, microcephaly, symptomatic epilepsy and developmental delay. She also has some issues concerning her general motor skills, but she’s showing great progress. She primarily uses a walker to move, but she can take a few steps with support. She has tremendous power in her legs and the specialists, and the specialists think she will soon start running around.
Local specialists (therapist, psychologist) provide support and interventions for Lisa.
