Mary is a warm and cuddly 2-year-old who lives with a foster family in Eastern Europe. She knows how to charm her caregivers and receives lots of attention.
Mary has started reproducing the actions and commands shown by the foster parent – kissing and clapping hands with the help of the parent. Although Маry was diagnosed with several malformations and cerebral palsy, her healthy status improves continuously. There is progress in motor skills development, and due to rehabilitation, she can keep right, leaning on a table or sofa, and moves with the aid of a walker. She can take a few steps supported by an adult.
A mild delay in the nerve-psychological development was observed, but thanks to the rehabilitation therapy, there has been a positive effect, and Mary continues to show intellectual development as she receives support and intervention from several specialists.
