Prader-Willi syndrome
Delay in the neuro-psychical development

Maverick is a 5-year-old boy who was abandoned and placed in the Baby Home for orphans in Eastern Europe and now lives with a foster family. He took his first steps at the orphanage without a daddy cheering him on. He said his first word without a mama capturing it on video.

Five years is too long to sit hoping someone finds enough time, enough money, enough courage to say ‘YES, I think we can fit one more at our table’. Because the cold reality is that ‘enough’ will never happen and Maverick will still be waiting.

You will never have enough time, enough money or the perfect moment to adopt. It just doesn’t happen, and sometimes we leap without ‘enough,’ knowing that what this boy needs is just ‘a little’. A little faith, a little courage, a mustard seed of hope.

The common impression is that the children are hopeful. The interest shown to them makes them feel special, which seems to scare them less, so they even allow themselves to joke about it. The relationship between the two sisters continues to deepen, and they openly express love toward each other.
