Rick is a very sweet, gentle, careful, attentive, responsive, compassionate and sociable 12-year-old boy. He has many friends and is always trying to help the others. Rick currently lives in a Group Home in Eastern Europe.

Raised by his biological mother for the first few months after his birth, Rick was found abandoned in a ditch before reaching the age of 1 year after his mother became homeless. Rick was placed under police protection and placed at an orphanage.

Today Rick does not differ from his peers in any way – he plays with them and participates in chores and activities at the institution. His only difficulties are related to studying – having had to cope on his own and rarely receiving encouragement. However, he has shown significant progress in this area. From not being able to hold a pen properly at age of 7, Rick now consids writing among his favorite activities and is proud of his nice handwriting!

Rick has no problems with his everyday routine – he is completely independent, manages all tasks he’s assigned, and is sociable and very obedient.

Rick acts with dignity and gratitude, never asking for anything. He feels sincere joy even for the smallest gifts he receives.

His dream is to become a police officer and drive a police car.

Rick is a gentle and sensitive child with great desire and hope to have his own family. He shines with warmth and smiles.
