Ryan is a 6.5-year-old boy, who lives in a group home in Eastern Europe.
When Ryan was 2.5 he had surgery to remove a brain tumor, followed by 4 years of chemotherapy treatment. Although therapy is helping to improve his fine motor skills and he’s able to walk with minimal support, he does need constant specialized care to actively monitor his health. Ryan takes great care of himself and can eat and get dressed on his own, and sleeps well.
Ryan has an incredible memory, and his thinking and intellect are typical for a 6 year old. He is a great communicator and enjoys telling stories. He feels comfortable among his peers and enjoys connecting with them.
Play with toys that have keys, buttons, sound and light effects, and music are some of Ryan’s favorite activities, and he loves playing the story game. His current interests are directed toward police and fire trucks and accessories related to these items.
