Sally is a 10-and-a-half-year-old girl who lives with a foster family in a small town in Eastern Europe.
A resilient child, Sally has a strong personality and sense of self. She stands up for her rights and wishes and has a keen sense of justice. Sally has built an excellent relationship with her foster mother and a foster “sister” residing in the same household.
Sally is very artistic, and her drawing and painting skills are above those expected for her age. She is receiving academic support from a resource teacher, and her foster family has also made a difference in her learning skills.
